"Clean Green" Boulder
City is a wonderful small town about 20 miles south of Las Vegas. It is the
town that built “Hoover Dam”. It is also the only city in the state
of Nevada without gambling. A planned community built during the 1930's by the
U.S. Government, it retains its small town charm with a highly strollable,
arcaded downtown with outdoor cafes, antique and gift shops, art galleries, an
excellent quilting shop, a cozy wine bar with an exclusive B&B attached,
and a great microbrewery.
